    High pressure over the northern continent facilitates fine weather for
    many. Wet in southeast Europe with thunderstorms and becoming unsettled
    in northern Scandinavia.

    Sunday
    Hot sunshine and scattered showers for central and east Spain, dry and
    fine in Portugal and the Balearic Islands. Some scattered showers over
    Sardinia, Corsica, and Italy in the afternoon, but otherwise sunny.
    Afternoon showers for much of the Balkan States, most frequent and
    heavy in Croatia, Albania, and Bosnia and Herzegovina where
    heavy/thundery showers may occur. A few showers in west Greece but
    otherwise dry to the east and into Türkiye, only a few scattered
    showers on the south Türkiye coast.
    Dry and sunny for France and across Germany eastward through Czechia
    and Poland. Still warm here but milder than prior days. Cloudier over
    northern parts of the Low Countries and Germany possibly a few
    scattered spots of drizzly rain here. Showery outbreaks with local
    thunder in Austria and east Switzerland, the heaviest spells on
    southern mountains and near Slovenia. Heavy/thundery showers too in
    Hungary and west Romania. Some local patchy rain in central Ukraine.
    Largely fine near the Black Sea.
    Denmark and southern parts of Sweden and Norway will be substantially
    sunny. Cloudier to the north with regular spells of rain across
    Norway's central and northern coasts, some rain drifting inland into
    northern Sweden. Cloudy for much of Finland with spells of rain in
    central and southern areas. Wet too in the morning for the Baltic
    States with local thundery downpours, trending dry and sunny later into
    the day.

    Monday
    A cloudier day for Iberia and the Balearics with patchy rain in
    northern Spain, some showery outbreaks in the east. Remaining showery
    for the central Mediterranean, showers more frequent and heavy in
    central and southern Italy. The northern Balkan States largely fine;
    wet with thundery downpours moving south into Serbia and Bulgaria and
    neighboring countries. Some thundery showers inland Greece as well.
    Only scattered light showers in Türkiye with plentiful sunshine.
    Cloud tending to build from the west into France with rain spells in
    the south and southeast mountains. High pressure creates find
    conditions in north France through the Low Countries, Germany, and
    Czechia. A few lingering showers in Switzerland and Austria,
    increasingly sunny here. Some cloud from Poland southward into Hungary
    and east into Ukraine and Belarus but substantially dry. Often raining
    in Romania with local thunderstorms.
    More sun for Denmark and southern Sweden and Norway. Some light morning

    westerlies into northwest Norway with persistent rain onto the coast,

    Thursday
    Showery outbreaks continue near north and east coasts of Spain, milder
    in north Spain than recently. Still dry and very warm south/west
    Iberia. Risk of showers continues for the Balearics and Sardinia and
    Corsica, some chance of thundery downpours. Thunderstorm risk persists
    in central and northern Italy and Slovenia, milder too in these areas.
    Some heavy showers into Croatia as well. The rest of the Balkans and
    southeast Europe fine with very warm sunshine.
    More west weather for much of France with thundery downpours in the
    east near the Alps. Northern areas substantially dry, with dry weather
    extending eastward across the Low Countries, Germany, and Poland.
    Expect a mix of cloud and sun in these areas. A band of heavy, thundery
    rain extends eastward from east France across the Alps through to
    Hungary and Slovakia. Unsettled too in Czechia, though more scattered
    and light in nature. Some scattered showers into western Romania and
    Ukraine as well, increasing in strength into nighttime.
    A brisk westerly wind across Denmark with a few showers. Showery too in
    southern Sweden with sun spells between. Remaining wet across Norway's
    coast, driest in southern areas with a mix of cloud and sun. Showery
    too with sunshine in Finland and into Estonia. Only scattered showers
    in Latvia and Lithuania, mostly sunny away from showers.

    north. Some heavy rain for southern Germany, further north dry and
    bright. A dry and bright day for the British Isles and the Low
    Countries. A few showers for Denmark, mostly light. A mostly dry and
    sunny day for Poland, but some heavy rain is possible later in the day
    in far south. Unsettled weather for Norway and Sweden mostly in the
    north and west with plenty of showers, possibly wintry over high
    ground, but drier brighter further south. Some afternoon showers for

    High pressure from Finland southward to the Mediterranean Sea keep
    eastern Europe mostly dry and sunny.

    Monday
    Showers in northern parts of Spain and Portugal on Monday. Much of
    southern Iberia mostly sunny, only some cloud around. but fair for the
    rest of Portugal and Spain. Scattered showers in the Balearics, risk of
    heavy showers in the far north islands and Corsica. Dry in Sardinia but
    increasingly cloudy. Thunderstorms arrive in northwest Italy, spreading
    east across most of northern Italy through the day. Central and
    southern areas dry with sunshine, cloud tending to build from the west
    later. Dry and sunny for the Balkan States, as well as Greece and
    Türkiye.
    Frequent, widespread afternoon showers across France, some drift into
    the Low Countries; a notable west-southwesterly breeze here. From dawn,
    a band of heavy/thundery rain is oriented north-to-south through west
    Germany into southeast France. The rain tends to break as it moves into
    central Germany, but Switzerland and west Austria will be increasingly
    wet with thunderstorms. Quite warm in east Germany through south Poland
    and Ukraine towards the Black Sea. Sunny spells with scattered
    afternoon showers in Slovakia, Hungary, and Romania, drier south.
    Denmark sees outbreaks of heavy rain throughout the day, these pushing
    into much of southern Norway too. Mostly dry in Sweden but quite
    cloudy, some rain reaching southwestern areas late in the day. The
    Baltic States and Finland will also be dry with sunny spells,
    increasingly sunny as the day goes. Far northern Scandinavia similarly
    dry with decent sun.

    Tuesday
    Morning showery rain in northwest Spain and Portugal. Some cloud around
    early, trending towards a sunny afternoon. A mix of cloud and sun for
    the central Mediterranean Islands but substantially dry. Frequent
    showers across much of Italy with local thunderstorms, most likely in
    the northeast. Increasingly cloudy for the northern Balkans with some
    showers onto Croatia's coast later in the day, remaining fine for the
    southern Balkans, Greece, and Türkiye.
    Notable southwesterly winds in west France where heavy rain sets in
    early and spreads east - only the far south will avoid rain. This rain
    reaches Belgium late in the day, only odd spots into the Netherlands.
    Scattered showers in Germany with sunny spells, rain more persistent in
    the northeast. Extensively showery across the Alps with risk of
    thunderstorms in Austria. A risk of thunderstorms extends into Czechia
    and south Poland as well. Sunny in east Poland and very warm. Extensive
    sunshine further east as well towards the Black Sea.
    Heavy showers in Denmark and southern Norway. Wet too in southern
    Sweden, increasingly widespread up the western coastal area with heavy
    spells. Dry with sunny spells for the Baltic States, through heavy
    showers may drift into Lithuania and Latvia later in the day. Dry and

    Northern Portugal and northern Spain face scattered showers, while the
    south basks in sunshine. Across France, heavy rain slides
    southeastward, leaving plenty of coastal showers in its wake. The
    British Isles experience a mix of sunshine and showers, some heavy and
    thundery. The Low Countries start cloudy with outbreaks of rain,
    spreading into northern Germany later. In contrast, southern Germany
    enjoys a mostly dry and sunny day. Further north, southern Norway,
    Sweden, and Finland see showers, while northern areas remain brighter
    and drier. The Baltic States, eastern Poland, and western Belarus face
    heavy showers, while Ukraine enjoys a largely dry, sunny day.
    Central Europe fares better, with Switzerland, Austria, and Czechia
    seeing mostly dry, sunny conditions. Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, and
    the Balkans, however, will contend with cloudy skies and heavy showers
    through the day.
    High pressure dominates much of the Mediterranean, bringing warm
    sunshine to the Balearics, Sardinia, and Corsica. Italy, Greece,
