• Rescan

From Mike Dippel@454:1/393 to All on Sat Feb 14 10:10:00 2026
I just joined IL_ and was wondering if there is an areafix command that will allow me to do a rescan of all the conference areas so I can retrieve all of the older messages. I didn't see it in the areafix.txt file.

No Qscan doesn't have a rescan command option.

Shame. I was trying to get a feel for the types of posts I would see in each conference area.

I can't believe how fast the messages get sent out. I sent a reply, realized it was not what I wanted to say, then promptly deleted it an created a new reply. Wouldn't you know it. The first one went through.

I remember doing this all via modems and phone lines. Wouldn't have been a problem back then :)

Anyway, I'm sure the dancers were square dancers and not line dancers.

    Mike,

They could be square dancers. One guy had a badge that noted F.B.I.
for Female Body Inspector. Another one had a PPI badge for pettipants inspector. That's what the women wear under their skirts, so that when
they twirl, you don't see their panties.

There is a fun badge with a sketch of the pettipants, and the word
OOPS!! -- meaning they forgot to wear them...and I understand "you only
    do that once". <G>

It does that over here. Even if you go in to edit it, the BBS usually
packs the message as soon as it's posted.
