Very Healthy Waffles

1/3 c Raw almonds
1 1/2 c Quick oats
2 1/4 c Water
1/4 ts Salt -- up to 1/2 ts
1/2 ts Vanilla
1/2 ts Maple flavor (optional)
Put in blender in order listed. Blend well. Allow to set while waffle
iron is heating. Bake in a hot waffle iron for 8 to 10 minutes. The
baking time depends on the heat of the waffle iron but these waffles
DO take longer than ordinary waffles so be patient. Serve with fruit
sauce or syrup or if you are in a hurry and need to "grab and go" eat
plain. :) Make a lot of these ahead of time and freeze them.
